Manchester United loanee Odion Ighalo reportedly earns an £8,000 bonus every time he scores for the club.
The 30-year-old moved to Old Trafford on loan from Shanghai Shenhua on January deadline day and has impressed during his short time at the club so far, scoring four goals in eight appearances.
The Mirror reports that Ighalo pockets £8,000 for each goal he scores as part of his loan agreement, meaning that he has already earned £32,000 for his exploits in the final third so far.
The Nigeria international also earns £9,000 for every Premier League win he is involved in and £3,000 for every top-flight draw - United have won three and drawn one of their four league games when he has featured.
Ighalo's future at United remains uncertain with his loan deal expiring on June 30 but no guarantee that the 2019-20 season will be completed before then amid the coronavirus shutdown.
However, the striker could also be in line for a further bonus if the Red Devils qualify for the Champions League next term.
Despite those bonuses Ighalo is still earning significantly less at United than he was at Shanghai Shenhua, having taken a 40% pay cut to join his boyhood club.
