Michael Owen: 'Anthony Martial hasn't blown me away'

Ex-Manchester United striker Michael Owen claims that Anthony Martial has not done anything out of the ordinary yet.

Former Manchester United striker Michael Owen has claimed that new signing Anthony Martial has not done anything to impress him yet.

The 19-year-old, who signed from AS Monaco for £36m last month, has scored four goals in his first six appearances for the Red Devils.

"I am not watching him and he is doing things I haven't seen before," Owen told BT Sport.

"He's not taking my breath away. But you can't pick any holes in his game right now, he has scored four.

"He has done what he had to do, that was the question mark before he came because he didn't have a goalscoring record."

Manchester United face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
