Former Manchester City striker Niall Quinn believes that his former team have struggled to cope with the relentless nature of Manchester United this season.

City are 15 points behind Sir Alex Ferguson's side going into tonight's Manchester derby where a win for the Red Devils will all but secure the Premier League title.

Quinn told BBC Sport: "It's been too difficult for City to muster the same fireworks that they created last year.

"United have just rolled on relentlessly, picking up clean sheets, winning the game and moving onto the next one and City have not been able to cope with it."

City are only four points ahead of third-placed Chelsea in the Premier League.
