Mino Raiola has revealed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic hired him as an agent after informing the Swedish striker that he was "full of shit".

The 34-year-old has worked with Raiola, who also has Paul Pogba and Mario Balotelli among his client list, for the past 10 years.

The football agent helped Ibrahimovic seal a free transfer to Manchester United in the summer, and has now revealed that he never minces his words with the striker.

"I think that Zlatan liked me as I think I was the first one to tell him he was full of shit," Raiola told talkSPORT. "I told him that if he thought he wanted to be one of the best players in the world then he would pump up his game, get working harder etc.

"And I think that until that time he only had people that wanted to work with him and said to him all the nice stuff."

Raiola also played a hand in Pogba's world-record £89m switch to Old Trafford from Juventus.
