Wayne Rooney could start for Manchester United

David Moyes says that Wayne Rooney has a "good chance" of starting for Manchester United when they entertain Chelsea at Old Trafford on Monday.

Manchester United manager David Moyes has revealed that Wayne Rooney is fully fit for Monday's Premier League clash with Chelsea at Old Trafford.

The 27-year-old was left out of the starting lineup for the Red Devils' opening match at Swansea City, but came off the bench to set up two goals for his team.

Rooney was believed to be struggling with hamstring and shoulder problems, but Moyes said that the England international is in line to start against the team who have twice been knocked back in pursuit of him.

"Wayne has recovered and has a good chance of starting," the Scottish coach told reporters.

Moyes has repeatedly stated that Rooney is not for sale.
