Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has indicated that he is not too concerned with Memphis Depay's low-key debut against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon.
Depay, who signed from PSV Eindhoven for a fee in the region of £25m, struggled to make an impact in United's 1-0 win, but Van Gaal believes that he will soon adapt to life in the Premier League.
The Dutchman is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "I said to Memphis that he doesn't have to play too eagerly and with too much passion and that counts for the whole team. But it's always the same - the first time you play at Old Trafford, it's always difficult."
The 21-year-old scored 50 goals in 124 appearances during his time with PSV.
