Louis van Gaal 'picks out Antonio Valencia, Daley Blind in training-ground rant'

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal reportedly singles out Antonio Valencia and Daley Blind in a training-ground rant following defeat to Chelsea.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal reportedly singled out Antonio Valencia and Daley Blind in a training-ground rant following Sunday's defeat to Everton.

The Red Devils suffered their second consecutive Premier League loss at Goodison Park when Roberto Martinez's side hit three goals past them.

According to The Mirror, Van Gaal expressed his anger at his players at Carrington during training on Monday, and pointed the finger at Valencia and Blind for their poor defensive displays at Goodison.

Despite the defeat, United's top-four hopes have been strengthened after fifth-placed Liverpool suffered a 1-0 defeat to Hull City on Tuesday evening.
