Manchester United captain believes that the club's new manager David Moyes possesses the same qualities as Sir Alex Ferguson.

Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic has revealed that he is looking forward to working with new boss David Moyes.

Moyes will replace Sir Alex Ferguson at the end of the season after the 71-year-old decided to call time on his career, but Vidic believes that it will make no difference to how the side perform on the pitch.

The 31-year-old told the club's official website: "I'm looking forward to working with David and I believe I will have the same success I had with Sir Alex.

"David and Sir Alex share some similarities - they are very passionate, they are both winners and you can see the way they approach the games and how they run things."

Moyes has signed a six-year deal at Old Trafford.
