Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger: 'Manchester United can come back from defeat'

Arsene Wenger believes that Manchester United can "come back" from their recent defeat in the Capital One Cup semi-final.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that Manchester United are capable of bouncing back from their current slump.

The North-West outfit, who appointed David Moyes following Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement last summer, are currently seventh in the Premier League table.

As well as their dismal league position, the Red Devils failed to reach the Capital One Cup final after being booted out by Sunderland on penalties last night.

"How to live with defeats shows what managers are about," Arsenal's Twitter page quotes Wenger as saying. "Man United can still come back."

Meanwhile, Wenger has admitted that Arsenal are "unlikely" to complete any signings this month.
