Saturday's Premier League predictions including Man United vs. Man City

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Man United vs. Man City.

The 189th Manchester derby takes place at Old Trafford on Saturday lunchtime when Manchester United play host to fierce rivals Manchester City in an intriguing Premier League showdown.

The Red Devils will be seeking revenge after suffering a humbling 6-3 defeat against the Citizens at the Etihad Stadium in October.

We say: Manchester United 1-2 Manchester City

Saturday's Manchester derby has a lot to live up to following the nine-goal thriller in October, and a tighter affair is to be expected this time around considering the significant improvements made by Man United in recent months.

However, Man City tend to respond well following a defeat and with a number of star names set to be recalled to their starting lineup, we can see Guardiola's side securing three valuable points to put pressure on Arsenal at the Premier League summit.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Brighton vs. Liverpool (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Aiming to leapfrog their revered visitors in the Premier League table, Brighton & Hove Albion welcome Liverpool to the Amex Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Seagulls thumped Middlesbrough 5-1 to progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup last time out, while Jurgen Klopp's men were forced to accept a replay after drawing 2-2 with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

We say: Brighton & Hove Albion 2-2 Liverpool

Both Brighton and Liverpool have demonstrated a penchant for goalscoring and propensity for conceding in recent weeks, which should lead to a fascinating battle between two continental hopefuls.

The re-formation of the Dunk-Webster partnership may even have the Seagulls earmarked as favourites for this game by some, but Liverpool's trips to the Amex often end with the visitors clinching at least a point, and we have faith in De Zerbi's prolific charges to hold the Reds to another high-scoring stalemate.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Everton vs. Southampton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Two Premier League teams embroiled in a relegation battle will face off at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon when Everton play host to Southampton.

While the Saints currently sit rock bottom of the table after 18 matches played, the Toffees are only three points further ahead in 18th place.

We say: Everton 1-1 Southampton

Neither Everton nor Southampton are likely to view Saturday's fixture as a must-win, with this relegation battle marking the halfway point for both sides in the Premier League this season.

A victory for either team here would provide them with a much-needed boost nevertheless, but we feel that the points will be shared in a closely-fought contest at Goodison Park.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Nott'm Forest vs. Leicester (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Fresh from booking their place in the EFL Cup semi-finals, Nottingham Forest return to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon, as fellow 17-pointers Leicester City visit the City Ground.

The Tricky Trees defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers on penalties in midweek, while Brendan Rodgers's team were knocked out at the same stage to Newcastle United.

We say: Nottingham Forest 1-1 Leicester City

While Leicester never have any problems making the net ripple on rival territory, trying to keep a revalitalised Forest side out with a depleted defence and midfield is unlikely to prove fruitful.

Both sides will also be battling midweek fatigue, which may render the buoyant mood around the City Ground slightly more ineffective than it would normally be, and we expect the two sides to share the spoils and remain level on points in the rankings.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Wolves vs. West Ham (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Two sides embroiled in an unexpected Premier League relegation dogfight lock horns at Molineux on Saturday afternoon, as Wolverhampton Wanderers entertain West Ham United.

Julen Lopetegui's side were knocked out of the EFL Cup by Nottingham Forest in midweek, while the Hammers recently overcame Brentford 1-0 in the FA Cup third round.

We say: Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-1 West Ham United

Slowly but surely improving on the goalscoring front under Lopetegui, Wolves have the ingredients that they need to trouble a shaky West Ham crop, but fatigue will undoubtedly work against them after their EFL Cup and FA Cup commitments.

Moyes's fresh-legged side can capitalise on their extra period of rest, but with the Hammers unable to end their hoodoo away from home, we expect this bottom-half clash to end all square.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Brentford vs. Bournemouth (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Seeking to bounce back from early FA Cup exits, Brentford and Bournemouth return to Premier League action at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday evening.

The Bees were dumped out in the third round by West Ham United at the weekend, while the Cherries fell to a 4-2 defeat to Championship pace-setters Burnley.

We say: Brentford 2-0 Bournemouth

While defeat in the FA Cup will go down as a minor blot on Frank's notebook, Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium fortress are a force to be reckoned with, and the possible reinclusion of Toney would only add to the Bees' final-third potency.

In stark contrast, Bournemouth and goalscoring have not gone hand-in-hand recently, and we can only envisage Brentford maintaining their European push with a comfortable three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.
