Marcus Rashford is expected to be fit to start Manchester United's Premier League clash with Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.
The 25-year-old emerged as a doubt for the contest at St James' Park when he withdrew from the England squad due to the knock that he suffered against Fulham in the FA Cup last time out.
However, Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag said during his pre-match press conference that Rashford had a strong chance of being available for Sunday's affair.
The Englishman has been in brilliant form for Man United during the 2022-23 campaign, scoring 27 goals and registering nine assists in 44 appearances in all competitions.

Rashford has faced Newcastle on 10 occasions during his professional career, with nine of those matches taking place in the Premier League, while he also tackled them in this season's EFL Cup final.
The forward boasts a record of seven wins, two draws and one defeat, while he has found the back of the net on five occasions, in addition to registering five assists.
Rashford's first goal against the Magpies came during the 2018-19 Premier League campaign, scoring and providing an assist in a 2-0 success for Man United at St James' Park.
The Englishman had a very productive 2020-21 campaign against Newcastle, meanwhile, first scoring and providing two assists in a 4-1 victory at St James' Park, before he scored and assisted in a 3-1 success for the 20-time English champions in the return fixture at Old Trafford.

Rashford has failed to score in his last two league appearances against Newcastle, though, which have both been draws.
The forward played the full 90 minutes of a 1-1 draw at St James' Park last season, but he was only a late substitute against the Magpies at Old Trafford earlier this term, which finished 0-0.
Rashford was on the scoresheet against Eddie Howe's side in the EFL Cup final at the end of February, though, with Man United lifting the trophy courtesy of a 2-0 success.
Two of the attacker's four Premier League goals against Newcastle have come at St James' Park, so he certainly knows what it takes to score in the famous stadium, and Man United will be looking to their leading goalscorer for inspiration in Sunday's top-four battle.
