Manchester United's most expensive sales ever

Sports Mole looks at the most expensive sales in Manchester United's illustrious history.

Manchester United have notoriously found it difficult to extract substantial transfer fees from clubs for their players in recent history.

However, there have been some huge sales by the 20-time English champions in the past, with Cristiano Ronaldo's switch to Real Madrid in 2009 firmly at the top of the list.
