The agent of Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski has insisted that the Poland international will remain at Camp Nou this summer, branding the speculation surrounding his future "fake news".
Lewandowski, 35, has again been in strong form for the Catalan giants during the 2023-24 campaign, scoring 24 goals and registering nine assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.
The experienced forward has a contract with the Catalan side until June 2026, with the option of a further 12 months, but there have recently been claims that he could depart this summer.
Barcelona boss Xavi refused to rule out a departure for the striker when questioned on the subject earlier this month, claiming that a decision would be made "at the end of the season".
Lewandowski is allegedly not one of the untouchables in the Barcelona squad, with the Catalan team said to be ready to sell him if a suitable offer arrives this summer.

Agent says Lewandowski will stay at Barcelona
However, the forward's agent Pini Zahavi has insisted that his client will be staying at Camp Nou beyond the end of this summer's transfer window.
"It's nonsense, fake news. Lewandowski is 100% staying at Barca next season," Zahavi told Meczykipl.
Lewandowski made the move to Barcelona from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022, and he has represented the Catalan side on 91 occasions, scoring 57 goals and registering 17 assists in the process.
There is thought to be Saudi Arabian interest in the forward, with Xavi's side believed to have identified Liverpool's Darwin Nunez as a possible replacement.
However, Zahavi has said that there is no chance of his client being sold in the upcoming market.

Which players could leave Barcelona this summer?
There is again speculation surrounding the future of Frenkie de Jong, with Manchester United said to be preparing to reignite their interest in the Netherlands international.
Ronald Araujo also continues to be linked with an exit, as Barcelona are under pressure to make some first-team sales in the upcoming market due to their financial problems.
Raphinha is another player who would not be short of offers, should the Catalan outfit signal that the Brazil international is available for transfer.
There have been claims that Pau Cubarsi, Lamine Yamal, Gavi, Pedri and Mikayil Faye are the only five players in the Barcelona squad not for sale under any circumstances.
Jules Kounde and Ferran Torres are also being linked with exits, while decisions need to be made on the futures of on-loan duo Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix.
