Robert Lewandowski's agent says that the Borussia Dortmund striker will not move to the Premier League "this summer".

Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski will not join a club in the Premier League this summer, according to his agent.

Maik Barthel revealed that the 24-year-old, who has been linked with Manchester United, wants to play in England in the future but will not make a move now.

"I can tell you only one thing - Robert is interested in the future coming to the Premier League," The Guardian quotes him as saying.

"The Premier League is very interesting for Robert. How long is the future, I cannot say to you. I think this summer is not the future."

When asked if Lewandowski will join Bayern Munich, Barthel said: "I don't know."

Lewandowski's current contract with Dortmund runs until June 2014.
