Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe has rejoined Championship side Aston Villa on loan for the duration of the 2018-19 campaign.
The Red Devils academy graduate was restricted to just five league outings during his stint in the West Midlands last term due to injury.
Having been used heavily during United's pre-season programme, Jose Mourinho has now sanctioned the 20-year-old's temporary move to Villa Park.
Tuanzebe, who has made a handful of senior appearances for United, is looking forward to getting going again.
"It's great to be back. This is a big, big club and to represent it again is a big honour for me," he told Villa's official website. "It made perfect sense for me to return for the season ahead. I know my way around the place now and owe a lot to the great people who've really looked after me.
"It was a no-brainer and now the ambition remains the same as last season - to reach the Premier League. I believe the squad we have here are more than capable of achieving it and playing at that level."
United are also expected to offload fellow defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah to Hertha Berlin for the upcoming campaign.
