Barcelona are reportedly currently battling "two to three Premier League clubs" and Inter Milan for the signature of Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram.
The 25-year-old has been in impressive form for his German club during the 2022-23 campaign, scoring 14 goals and registering four assists in 24 appearances in all competitions.
Thuram's contract is due to expire at the end of the season, though, and he is not expected to pen an extension with the Bundesliga outfit.
A number of clubs have been credited with an interest in the France international, who is expected to be one of the most attractive free agents on the market this summer.
Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are among the Premier League clubs to be linked with the forward's signature over the last few months.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona are set to battle at least two clubs from the Premier League, in addition to Italian giants Inter, for the striker's signature.
"There are really many clubs interested in Marcus Thuram. Barcelona, Inter but especially two to three Premier League clubs," Romano wrote in his column for CaughtOffside.
"It's open and all of them are informed on the conditions of the deal, while Bayern [Munich] are currently focused on different targets despite reports on Thuram."
The Frenchman made the move to Monchengladbach from Guingamp in 2019, and he has represented the German team on 126 occasions, scoring 42 goals and contributing 26 assists.
Thuram also represented his country at the 2022 World Cup, making five appearances at the competition, including 79 minutes of the final against Argentina.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has confirmed that his club are planning to move for a new forward this summer to ease the pressure on Robert Lewandowski.
The Catalan outfit's financial problems could prevent them from making a big-money addition in the final third, though, which could lead to Thuram being targeted as a low-cost option.
Man United, Chelsea and Arsenal are also keen to bring in new forwards this summer, while there is again speculation surrounding Harry Kane's future at Tottenham, and his departure would lead to the North London club entering the market for a replacement.
Despite his strong form this season, Thuram has only scored once in the Bundesliga since returning to action after the World Cup, with the goal coming against Bayern in the middle of February.
