Bayern Munich could sell Robert Lewandowski this summer if the centre-forward rejects a new deal, according to a report.

Bayern Munich are reportedly open to the idea of selling Robert Lewandowski this summer if the centre-forward rejects the chance to sign a new deal at Allianz Arena.

The 33-year-old has again been in strong form for Bayern during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 34 times in 27 appearances in all competitions, and he was recently crowned Best FIFA Men's Player of the Year.

Lewandowski's contract is due to expire in June 2023, and according to Bild, the Bundesliga champions are considering offering the Poland international a new two-year extension.

However, the proposal would see the striker take a pay cut, and the report claims that Bayern could sell him in the event that he rejects the terms on offer.

Lewandowski's exit this year would allegedly put the Bundesliga giants firmly in the race for Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland.

Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Manchester City have all been linked with Lewandowski, who has scored 328 goals in 356 appearances for Bayern since arriving in July 2014.
