Chelsea have reportedly emerged as the frontrunners for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
The 27-year-old's future with Spurs continues to be called into question, with both Manchester City and Manchester United said to be keen to sign the England captain in the upcoming market.
Kane has enjoyed another strong season at club level, scoring 31 goals and registering 16 assists in 46 appearances in all competitions.
However, the forward will again end the season without a trophy, and there have been suggestions that the Englishman will attempt to leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after Euro 2020.
According to Football Insider, despite interest from Man City and Man United, Chelsea are now at the head of the queue and are prepared to pay big money to sign Kane during this summer's transfer window.
The report claims that Blues owner Roman Abramovich is prepared to sanction at least one big-money arrival in the upcoming market, having been impressed with Thomas Tuchel's work at the helm.
Spurs allegedly remain determined to keep hold of Kane this summer.
