Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt reportedly intends to make a decision regarding his future within the next week.
De Ligt has been tipped to join one of European football's top clubs, with the most recent claims suggesting that the 19-year-old is going to link up with either Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain.
Those two teams may be forced to wait a little longer, however, with The Mirror saying that De Ligt will take up to another seven days to select his next side.
De Ligt is currently on international duty with the Netherlands, who reached the UEFA Nations League final on Thursday night with a 3-1 victory over England.
The Dutch will now meet Portugal in Sunday's final, meaning that De Ligt may take until nearer the end of next week to inform Ajax of his decision.
Manchester United and Liverpool are allegedly out of the race to sign the youngster.
