Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele is reportedly 'open' to joining Manchester United before this summer's transfer window closes for business on October 5.
The Red Devils have been strongly linked with the France international as an alternative to Jadon Sancho, who appears likely to remain with Borussia Dortmund this summer.
United now face a race against the clock to sign Dembele, but according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the deal is 'still on' in the final stages of the window.
Romano, who posted an update on his official Twitter account on Sunday night, also claims that Dembele is 'open' to the idea of moving to Old Trafford on deadline day.
Barca are said to be keen on selling the 23-year-old to United on a permanent deal, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are allegedly only interested in a loan agreement.
The 2018 World Cup winner has only played 20 minutes of La Liga football this season and was an unused substitute against Sevilla in La Liga on Sunday night.
