Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc says that Jadon Sancho will not be sold during the January transfer window.

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has dismissed the possibility of Jadon Sancho leaving the club in January.

Over the past week, there have been suggestions that Sancho is unhappy at the Westfalenstadion due to his early withdrawal from the game against Bayern Munich.

The England international was also dropped to the bench for Wednesday's Champions League showdown with Barcelona, with it being claimed that the 19-year-old was late for a team meeting.

However, while speculation persists over an eventual exit to a bigger club, Zorc expects Sancho to remain at the Bundesliga outfit for the rest of the campaign.

Speaking at a news conference, Zorc told reporters: "We've cleared everything internally in the team and with the player. It's done, we're looking forward. Jadon is another regular player and he is part of our team.

"I believe that when he came on against Barcelona, we witnessed a good response and he did a very good job. I do not have the impression that he wants to prepare for a January move. We talked to him and his agency."

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United and Liverpool are all said to be monitoring the situation.
