Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani has reportedly set his sights on a move to Barcelona, and is believed to be willing to take a pay cut to push through the transfer.
The arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer has limited the amount of gametime Cavani has seen at Old Trafford this season, only making nine appearances in all competitions.
Barcelona have completed the signing of Ferran Torres from Manchester City on Tuesday, but despite the added attacking prowess the Spanish international brings, the Catalan giants are believed to be closing in on a deal for Cavani.
According to The Mirror, Cavani's move to Camp Nou remains on track and the Uruguay international will take a pay cut in order to help Barcelona afford the transfer.
The 34-year-old's terms at Old Trafford are set to expire at the end of this campaign, but his contract could be terminated to allow him to leave on a free next month.
During the season and a half Cavani has had with Man United, he has scored 19 goals in 48 appearances for the club.
