Inter Milan have not given up on the prospect of signing Matteo Darmian from Manchester United in January, according to reports.
Darmian found himself out of favour during the opening months of Jose Mourinho's reign at Old Trafford, with Antonio Valencia being preferred to the Italian at right-back.
The 26-year-old has started United's last two league games, though, with an injury to Valencia seeing the full-back restored to the first team.
Darmian himself has played down speculation linking him with a January exit, but Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Inter are still interested in the Italy international.
The report goes on to claim that the Serie A side will look to sign Darmian on loan in January with a view to making the move permanent in the summer.
The likes of Barcelona, Juventus and Napoli have also been linked with a move for the defender.
