Manchester United will reportedly face competition from Inter Milan for the signature of Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho.

However, following the sacking of David Moyes, United's transfer plans are now uncertain, which has alerted officials at Inter, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Serie A outfit are known to be keen to bolster their midfield options and have also been linked with Chelsea's John Obi Mikel.
