Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho wants to sign Inter Milan defender Diego Godin this summer, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly determined to bring Diego Godin to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during this summer's transfer window.

Godin only joined Inter from Atletico Madrid last summer and has made 25 appearances for Antonio Conte's side during the 2019-20 campaign.

There have been suggestions that the 34-year-old could be allowed to leave on ahead of next season, though, and Manchester United are thought to be interested in his services.

According to the Daily Express, Spurs are also keen on a summer deal for the Uruguay international.

The report claims that Inter boss Conte now wants to keep Godin, having initially deemed him surplus to requirements, but Mourinho is still determined to bring the experienced defender to the English capital.

Godin's current deal at San Siro will expire in the summer of 2022.
