Serie A clubs to poach Premier League free agents?

Serie A clubs are reportedly waiting to snap up a number of Premier League free agents, with Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud among those who could be heading to Italy.

A string of out-of-contract Premier League players are reportedly on the radar of Serie A clubs ahead of the opening of the transfer window.

Chelsea trio Pedro, Olivier Giroud and Willian are high-profile stars due to be out of contract at the end of the season, while Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen is also close to becoming a free agent.

According to the Daily Mail, each of those players are being targeted by Italy's top clubs, with the likes of Inter Milan, Juventus and Roma waiting to pounce.

Juve boss Maurizio Sarri is said to be a big fan of Willian from their time together at Stamford Bridge, while Roma are expected to move for Vertonghen and Pedro in their hunt for a new centre-back and winger respectively.

Meanwhile, Giroud was a target for Antonio Conte in January and remains a possibility for Inter this summer, it is claimed.
