Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio will not be leaving the Italian champions this summer, according to the club's director-general Beppe Marotta.
Marchisio, 27, has been linked with Manchester United and Monaco in recent weeks.
However, Marotta insists that the player is staying put.
"We won't sell him," Marotta told Calciomercato.com. "It seems to me that the clearest demonstration about Marchisio's importance to Juventus was the contract renewal we signed in September 2012 until June 2017 which changed his salary.
"We would only review the situation if a sensational offer arrived that wasn't in line with the market and that, until this moment, hasn't arrived."
Marchisio, who played 68 minutes of Italy's 2-1 win over Mexico on Sunday, made 29 appearances Serie A appearances last season.
