Liverpool have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Villarreal attacker Arnaut Danjuma ahead of this summer's transfer window.
The 25-year-old has been in impressive form for the Yellow Submarine during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 14 goals and registering four assists in 29 appearances in all competitions.
The Reds continue to be linked with the forward, while it is believed that Manchester United scouts watched him score against Bayern Munich in the Champions League last week.
According to El Nacional, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is determined to bring Danjuma to Anfield during this summer's transfer window.
The report claims that the Reds are currently 'accelerating' their plans to move for the Netherlands international and have already made contact with his agent to discuss a switch to Merseyside.
Villarreal are said to be aware of the growing interest in his services and will allegedly not consider offers of under £50m for the former Bournemouth attacker.
Danjuma scored 17 times and registered eight assists in 52 matches for Bournemouth between 2019 and 2021, featuring in the Premier League on 14 occasions during the 2019-20 season.
