Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has reportedly asked the club for an update on his future before they embark on their pre-season tour to Australia and the Far East at the end of the week.
The 26-year-old Belgian has been preparing for a move away from Old Trafford after emerging as Antonio Conte's top target at Inter Milan, returning to Carrington ahead of schedule this week for talks with United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Although Lukaku reportedly does not wish to force a move, United are willing to let him go if their £80m valuation is met. Inter, however, are yet to get anywhere near that price tag.
The former Everton striker and his camp accept that a deal is unlikely to be agreed before the Manchester United squad fly to Perth on Sunday, but the Evening Standard reports that they at least hope to have an update from the club.
Lukaku is expected to be part of United's travelling squad on Sunday ahead of a tour which will see the Red Devils face Inter in Singapore at the end of the month.
