Manchester City have reportedly expressed an interest in Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry.
The 28-year-old moved to the Allianz Arena from Werder Bremen in 2017 and has since made a total of 228 appearances for the Bundesliga giants in all competitions, scoring 82 goals and providing 51 assists.
Gnabry has also won 13 trophies with Bayern, including five Bundesliga titles, two DFB-Pokals and one Champions League.
The Germany international was an integral first-team player for Bayern last season, scoring 17 goals and registering 12 assists in 47 games, but he has since endured a difficult 2023-24 campaign, largely due to injury.
Gnabry, who recently recovered from a forearm fracture, has scored just once in five starts and five substitute outings in all tournaments this term, and Bayern chiefs are said to be 'disappointed' with his contribution according to Bavarian Football Works.

Bayern's No.7 extended his contract in July last year until the summer of 2026, but Football Transfers, via Fichajes, reports that the German giants are prepared to part ways with the winger in the January transfer window.
Man City are reportedly interested in Gnabry as Pep Guardiola seeks to strengthen his attacker by recruiting a 'top-level' winger.
The treble winners are yet to submit a formal offer for Gnabry, but the former Arsenal youngster is believed to be 'ready' to return to the Premier League in the prime years of his career.
Man City are said to have the financial capacity to sign Gnabry, who is valued by Bayern at around €55m (£47.2m).

Guardiola bid farewell to two wingers in the summer as Riyad Mahrez and Cole Palmer joined Al-Ahli and Chelsea respectively, with Man City receiving a combined fee worth in the region on £75m.
The Citizens used those funds to recruit Jeremy Doku from Rennes for a reported £55m, and the Belgian winger has since made a bright start to life at the Etihad Stadium, contributing with four goals and six assists in 19 appearances across all competitions.
Jack Grealish, who scored in last weekend's 3-3 draw with Tottenham Hotspur, Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva and Oscar Bobb are other wide options at Guardiola disposal.
Man City are not the only club that have been linked with Gnabry, as rivals Manchester United are also believed to be plotting an approach for the Bayern man in the New Year.
Meanwhile, Napoli's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, AC Milan's Rafael Leao and Bayern's Leroy Sane – who spent four years at the Etihad between 2016 and 2020 – have also been linked with a possible switch to the Citizens.
