Manchester United may reportedly cool their efforts to sign a new centre-back this summer due to the form of Victor Lindelof.
Despite possessing one of the best defensive records in the Premier League since October, there have been times this season when United have struggled in that area of the pitch.
Keen for more competition in the middle of his backline, it has been suggested that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will prioritise a new defender during the next transfer window.
However, according to Goal, Lindelof's recent performances have left the Norwegian in two minds over his plans for the summer market.
The report claims that the 26-year-old may continue his long-term partnership with Harry Maguire next season, leaving Eric Bailly and Axel Tuanzebe to act as backup.
Lindelof has made 34 starts in all competitions this campaign, his game time only being reduced due to a back problem.
