Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Benfica defender Nuno Tavares.
The 20-year-old came through the youth system with the Eagles and has now made 33 first-team appearances for his current side, including 17 outings in all competitions this term.
Tavares has a contract with Jorge Jesus's side until the summer of 2024, placing the Portuguese giants in a strong position when it comes to his future.
However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Portugal Under-21s international is currently on United's radar, with his performances drawing attention from the English giants.
Tavares largely operates as a left-back, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are currently well-stocked in that area of the field with Alex Telles signed last summer to compete with Luke Shaw.
Serie A duo Roma and Napoli are also said to be interested in the signing the youngster.
