Darwin Nunez, who continues to be linked with Manchester United, will reportedly seek a move away from Benfica this summer.

Benfica striker Darwin Nunez will reportedly seek a move away from his Portuguese club during this summer's transfer window.

The 22-year-old has been in strong form for the Eagles during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 28 times and contributing three assists in 35 appearances in all competitions.

Manchester United are believed to be interested in the Uruguay international, who has netted five goals in nine Champions League outings during the 2021-22 campaign.

According to journalist Cesar Luis Merlo, Nunez 'is likely to leave Benfica' this summer, with the Portuguese outfit valuing him in the region of €80m (£66.8m).

Merlo also claims that Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona could battle Man United for his signature in the upcoming market.

Nunez was on the scoresheet in Benfica's 3-1 loss to Liverpool in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday night.

In total, the South American has scored 42 goals and registered 15 assists in 79 appearances for the Lisbon giants since arriving from Almeria in September 2020.
