Manchester United have confirmed that David de Gea will be a part of the travelling squad for their upcoming pre-season tour of the USA.
There have been widespread reports throughout the summer that the goalkeeper was keen to join Real Madrid.
However, as yet, Los Blancos have been unable to reach an agreement with their Premier League counterparts, who are said to want Madrid defender Sergio Ramos as a part of any deal.
As a result, the 24-year-old will now board the United plane that is due to fly across the Atlantic Ocean later today.
But, while De Gea has been included, fellow keeper Victor Valdes has not been named, amid suggestions that he has been the subject of interest from Turkish club Antalyaspor.
There is also no place for right-back Rafael da Silva, with the Brazilian expected to depart Old Trafford over the coming days, while Angel di Maria and Marcos Rojo have both been given extended leave following their exploits at the Copa America with Argentina.
Recent new signings Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin and Matteo Darmian have all completed their arrivals in time to make the trip.
