Manchester United will move for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Andre Silva this summer if Edinson Cavani does not extend his stay, according to a report.
Cavani has made a huge impression in his short time at Old Trafford and has the option of staying for another year, but it remains to be seen if the Red Devils will keep him on the books for the 2021-22 campaign given his age and recent injury woes.
United are expected to be in the market for a new frontman this summer regardless, with Erling Braut Haaland being linked with a sensational switch to the red side of Manchester.
Now, The Sun claims that the agent of Frankfurt striker Silva - Jorge Mendes - could offer his client to United so that the Bundesliga outfit have the funds available to re-sign Luka Jovic from Real Madrid.
With Silva still having two-and-a-half years left to run on his deal with Adi Hutter's side, the report claims that any deal to bring the 25-year-old to Old Trafford could be worth up to £30m.
Silva has been in scintillating form for Frankfurt this term with 18 goals in 20 Bundesliga appearances - only Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski has more.
