Manchester United have reportedly not been in contact with Sergio Ramos despite suggestions that the English giants are keen to bring the Real Madrid defender to Old Trafford.
Ramos's contract at the Bernabeu is due to expire at the end of June, and it appears increasingly likely that the Spain international will be leaving Los Blancos ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.
United have been strongly linked with the 34-year-old, who is expected to be on the sidelines until April with a knee injury which required surgery.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 20-time English champions have not yet been in contact with Ramos as they are still assessing potential centre-back targets.
The former Sevilla youngster has allegedly already turned down two new contract offers from Zinedine Zidane's side and has recently moved closer to the exit door.
Ramos - also believed to be a target for Paris Saint-Germain - has scored 100 goals in 668 appearances for Los Blancos in all competitions, winning five La Liga titles and four Champions League crowns.
