Manchester United have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Marseille midfielder Kevin Strootman on loan.
The 29-year-old has been continually linked with a move to Old Trafford over the last few years.
The Netherlands international only joined Marseille from Roma in last summer's transfer window and has been a key figure for the club during the 2018-19 campaign.
However, according to Sky Sports News, Marseille 'need to cut costs' this summer and United have been given the opportunity to sign the experienced midfielder on loan for the 2019-20 season.
Meanwhile, the same report has claimed that Everton and West Ham United have been approached by the Ligue 1 side.
Strootman has also turned out for Sparta Rotterdam, FC Utrecht and PSV Eindhoven during a well-travelled career.
