Marseille 'want Manchester United, Arsenal target Adrien Rabiot on loan'

Marseille are reportedly keen to beat Arsenal and Manchester United to the signing of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

Arsenal and Manchester United could miss out on signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot as Marseille have reportedly entered the running.

The 20-year-old is said to be open to leaving Parc des Princes as he has only started nine Ligue 1 games this season.

Arsenal are believed to have opened talks with Rabiot's mother and agent Veronique over a loan move with an option to buy for £11.2m in the summer, while United have also been linked.

It has been reported that the North-West club are willing to pay PSG's valuation of £21.4m to seal Rabiot's signature this month.

However, according to the Daily Mail, Marseille have put forward the proposal of a loan move for Rabiot, who made his senior debut for PSG in 2012.

The midfielder has made 13 appearances for the French club this season.
