AC Milan have reportedly seen off competition from a number of teams to the £30m signing of Brazilian starlet Lucas Paqueta from Flamengo.
The 21-year-old is also understood to have been on the radar of Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, while Liverpool had also been linked with the youngster.
According to Sky Sport Italia, however, a big-money arrangement is now in place between Milan and Flamengo for the twice-capped Brazil international.
Paqueta will supposedly link up with the Rossoneri in January should he pass his medical, which is scheduled for the coming days.
Milan's sporting director Leonardo is said to have played a key role in pushing through the transfer.
