Manchester United manager David Moyes has claimed that he does not need to convince Wayne Rooney to stay at the club.
The England striker has been the subject of two bids from Chelsea, both of which have been rejected by United.
"I don't know," Moyes told reporters when asked what Rooney made of Chelsea's second bid. "I haven't asked him. You don't need to convince anybody to stay at Manchester United."
According to reports, several United players are becoming frustrated with Rooney's refusal to commit to the club.
