Midfielder Paul Pogba has reportedly shelved plans to look for an exit from Manchester United.
Pogba is currently in his third season at Old Trafford but despite costing United a club-record fee, the France international has recently found himself out of the starting lineup under Jose Mourinho.
However, the Premier League giants announced on Tuesday that the club had parted company with Mourinho after a poor run of results, and it appears to have improved the chances of the 25-year-old remaining in the North-West of England.
According to The Sun, Pogba now has no plans to look for a January departure from United and is focused on helping the team move up the top-flight standings.
United are currently considering potential short-term replacements for Mourinho, with an appointment likely to be made later this week.
Laurent Blanc and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have both been linked with a role in the dugout.
