Real Madrid have reportedly upped their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.
The England international has scored 14 goals and provided 20 assists in 102 appearances for Dortmund, and his performances have led to interest from a number of Europe's biggest clubs.
Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City have all been linked, but Real Madrid appear to be leading the race for Bellingham's signature.
According to the Daily Mail, Real Madrid begun discussions with the player's representatives last year and talks have now reached an advanced stage where the relevant figures are being negotiated.
Dortmund are looking to receive £87.7m for the Englishman and the European champions are prepared to meet that asking price next summer.
A move to Real Madrid would see the 19-year-old join a midfield that has already been strengthened with the arrivals of Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga in the past two summer transfer windows.
Bellingham's primary focus will be on Der Klassiker, with Dortmund set to play host to their rivals Bayern Munich on Saturday.
