Report: Besiktas planning offer for Shinji Kagawa

Besiktas will make a bid for Manchester United's Shinji Kagawa in the summer, according to reports.

Besiktas have reportedly decided to make Shinji Kagawa their top transfer target ahead of the summer window.

Kagawa has struggled to cement a place in the Manchester United team under David Moyes and Juan Mata's arrival has seen him fall further down the pecking order.

Besiktas are willing to offer the 24-year-old an escape route and could put forward as much as £15m to secure his services.

However, the Turkish club will face competition from Borussia Dortmund, who are eager to bring Kagawa back after selling him in the summer of 2012, according to Manchester Evening News.

Kagawa has not featured for United since Mata was signed from Chelsea in January.
