Report: Manchester United want Monaco's Fabinho

AS Monaco defender Fabinho is on the radar of Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal, according to reports.

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is considering a bid for AS Monaco right-back Fabinho, according to reports.

The 21-year-old, who joined the Ligue 1 club over the summer after spending two seasons on loan at the Stade Louis II, has already earned three caps for Brazil.

His performances in France have caught the attention of Van Gaal, who is weighing up a move for the defender, according to Calcio Mercato.

However, the Red Devils will face competition for his signature from Inter Milan, the report adds.

Fabinho, who was part of Dunga's 23-man squad for the 2015 Copa America in Chile, has previously spent time on loan with Real Madrid.
