Report: Manchester United eye move for Bruno Martins Indi

A report suggests that Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is preparing to replace Marcos Rojo with Bruno Martins Indi when the transfer window reopens.

Manchester United are lining up a move for Porto defender Bruno Martins Indi, according to a report.

United boss Louis van Gaal has outlined the Dutchman as his top defensive target in January to replace Argentina international Marcos Rojo, whom he intends to sell.

The relationship between Rojo and Van Gaal has broken down over the last few months due to the sale of Angel di Maria, and the 64-year-old has signalled his intent to move on from the defender.

As a result, United will swoop for Martins Indi when the transfer window reopens in January, reports The Mirror.

Martins Indi played under Van Gaal during his time in charge of the Netherlands.
