Manchester United's Marcos Rojo pushing for Everton inclusion?

A report claims that Manchester United are hopeful Marcos Rojo will overcome a hamstring problem in time to feature against Everton later this month.

Marcos Rojo could reportedly be passed fit for Manchester United's trip to Everton after the international break.

The 25-year-old, who has missed United's last four matches with a hamstring complaint, was recently forced to withdraw from the Argentina squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Paraguay.

However, according to the Manchester Evening News, the injury is more of a muscle strain rather than a tear, which has resulted in hope that the defender could be available for the game at Goodison Park on Saturday, October 17.

The report adds that if the Premier League encounter on Merseyside was to come too soon, Rojo should return for the Champions League group clash against CSKA Moscow in Russia four days later.

Fitness problems have restricted Rojo to just two appearances in all competitions this season, neither of which have lasted 90 minutes.
