West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice hints that he is prepared to remain at the London Stadium for at least another season.

Declan Rice has suggested that he 'wants to achieve more' at West Ham United after the Hammers missed out on a place in the Europa League final.

Already trailing 2-1 to Eintracht Frankfurt from the first leg in London, West Ham had Aaron Cresswell sent off during the early stages of the reverse fixture before their German opponents wrapped up the tie with a 1-0 win.

West Ham now need a strong end to the campaign to earn another year in European football's secondary competition, but it appears that Rice is prepared to spend 2022-23 at his current club despite persistent speculation regarding a switch to Manchester United or Chelsea.

Speaking to BT Sport, Rice said: "Me coming off there, I have lost big games, the lads in there have lost big games, but I come off there with my head held high.

"We have given it such a good go, no one expected us to get past Sevilla, no one expected us to get past Lyon, we had a genuine belief from in the camp, with the fans and even from players from other teams texting us saying go out there and do it so we wanted to do it.

"It is a real gutter because I have got to listen to them celebrate, it is not nice, but we will be back. I am young, I want more. The lads want more. This club deserves more. We have shown as a club we can do these big European nights."

With West Ham possessing an option to extend Rice's contract by an extra 12 months, the 23-year-old effectively has three years left on his deal.
