Marcos Rojo confirms "dream" move to Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon

Marcos Rojo confirms that he has sealed a "dream" move to Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon.

Marcos Rojo has confirmed that he has left Sporting Lisbon to join Manchester United this summer.

The Argentine defender is reported to be part of a £16m deal, which includes Nani returning to the Portuguese outfit.

United's interest in the 24-year-old came to light over the last few weeks, but issues over a transfer fee due to third-party ownership by the Doyen agency poured doubt over the move.

The defender missed training with Sporting last week and has since apologised for his conduct, but it appears that a move has been concluded.

"It feels like a dream to be a Manchester United player," Rojo told Radio Continental. "Leaving Sporting wasn't easy."

United's summer spending also includes the arrivals of midfielder Ander Herrera and left-back Luke Shaw.
