Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos is closing in on a move to Manchester United, according to a report.
The 29-year-old is said to be unhappy with his contract situation at the Bernabeu as he hoped his deal with the club would be extended, but no talks have occurred between the team and his agent.
Ramos has outlined a switch to the Red Devils as his preference in order to get maximum value on his contract, while United are looking to snatch a player away from Real as David de Gea looks set to join Madrid this summer, reports the Daily Mail.
The Spain international has been with the club since he signed from Sevilla in 2005.
