Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirms Alexis Sanchez talks

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirms that Manchester United are continuing to hold talks with other clubs regarding the potential sale of Alexis Sanchez.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that talks are being held regarding the possible exit of Alexis Sanchez.

Having failed to impress during his first 19 months at Old Trafford, Sanchez finds himself down the pecking order and with United willing to part ways before the end of the summer transfer window.

Inter Milan are currently favourites to sign the Chile international, potentially on a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season.

However, Solskjaer has hinted that there may be more than one club who are keen to get a transfer over the line before September 2.

The Norwegian is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "There are still talks with some clubs. He's working hard and let's see in September what's going to happen."

Sanchez has contributed just five goals from 45 appearances in all competitions since leaving Arsenal for United in January 2018.
